Innovation Week 2018: PANEL DISCUSSION ON THE ROLE OF UNIVERSITIES IN IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEW COMPETENCE-BASED CURRICULUM (CBC)

The University of Nairobi through the School of Education has organized the above event as one of the Nairobi Innovation Week’s side events to take place on TUESDAY, MARCH 06, 2018 FROM 10:00AM TO 1:00PM AT TAIFA HALL. Key Panelists and discussants will be curriculum experts from the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), Ministry of Education, Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC) and The University of Nairobi.

The event is open to the public and targets participants from Universities, Teacher Training Colleges, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges, NGOs and all other Education Stakeholders.

The forum will provide a platform for articulation of issues about the CBC to the University academic staff and students, discussion on the role of Universities in the implementation of the curriculum and aligning of University academic programmes to the new curriculum.

Staff and students of the University of Nairobi are invited to attend.
