Geography Students field trip for a geographical study of the lake basin

College of Education and external studies students taking Geography are en route to Kericho, Kisumu and Kakamega for a Geographical field study of the lake basin led by Dr. Shadrach kithiia and Mr. John WakaJummah. The field trip is part of requirement for students’ pursuing bachelors’ of Education Arts at the school of Education.

The department of Geography offers a wide range of academic programmes leading to Diploma, BA, BSc, BEd, MA, MSc and PhD degrees in diverse fields of geography and environmental studies. The department is administratively under the Faculty of Arts, it offers degree programmes in the School of Biological Sciences and the School of Education.
