The College of Education and External Studies has mounted a 4 day online training exercise targeting all students. The training will start on Monday, 30th March to 2nd April 2020.
The University of Nairobi suspended Face–to-face learning on March 16th 2020 following a presidential directive to close all learning institutions to contain the spread of Corona Virus. The University resolved to move most of the operations online to facilitate staff to carry out teaching and Administrative functions. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama has outlined the various plans the University has laid down to ensure continuity of programs through e-Learning and utilization of digital content sharing platforms to ensure learning is uninterrupted. The College of Education and External Studies has mounted a 4 day online training exercise targeting all students. The training will start on Monday, 30th March to 2nd April 2020. The timings of the training will be sent to various students groups to ensure all students participate in the training. The students will be trained on how to access various services online including Lectures, Library Resources and one-on-one sessions with supervisors. The training will be conducted online through Google Suite platforms.
The University remains committed to the national agenda to contain the spread of the Corona Virus. We ask all students to utilize all available online platforms to continue learning. The academic and Administrative staff can be reached through the office of the Principal, Dean and Registrar.
