The global commemoration of World AIDS Day is on December 1, 2020. The day is dedicated to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and is in remembrance of those who have lost their lives to complications of HIV.
The University of Nairobi held a virtual event on December 1, 2020, from 9.00 AM to 11.00AM. The chief guest was the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama. Prof. Aggrey O. Anzala, Director of KAVI – ICR, gave the keynote address, while Dr. Loice A. Ombajo, Physician and Infectious Disease Specialist, made a presentation on COVID-19. Read more
