Master of Education (Physical Education and Sport)

Overview

The Masters degree programme intends to create professional and technical graduates who will be pivotal in the creation of awareness on the dangers of sedentary lifestyles and prescribe movement activities for the affected people.  The realm of Physical Education and Sport has not attracted research based knowledge in Kenya due to the low number of experts.  It is evident that only one University in Kenya offers Post- Graduate studies in this area.  Therefore the Masters degree Program will produce graduates who will be pivotal in applied research in the diverse areas of physical education and sport.

Philosophy

The philosophy of the programme is to cultivate meritocracy in researcher on physical education and health related academic scholarship.
