Introduction to Certificate in Sports Coaching.

The University of Nairobi’s Faculty of Education has partnered with the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK) to introduce a Certificate in Sports Coaching. This innovative program is designed to equip sports coaches and teachers with advanced knowledge and skills in the science of sports, focusing on how the human body functions and responds to physical activity. The course is specifically tailored for coaches working under sports federations affiliated with NOCK, as well as educators who are passionate about sports and athletic development.

The Impacts of Gender Based Violence on Education in the 21st Century

The University of Nairobi held a virtual conference in partnership with FEMME to address the contentious issue of Gender- Based Violence in the 21st century. The meeting which was held virtually addressed the challenges and the growing concerns of GBV and how the problem has been there for long. FEMME founder, Susan Chong highlighted the importance and urgency of addressing the issue of gender-based violence hence calling on every stakeholder to action.
