The Library Department through the Kenya Libraries and Information Services Consortium (KLISC) is delighted to introduce to Students, Faculty and Researchers a vast collection of 5,000 titles of e-Books from a leading publisher, Taylor & Francis. The titles cut across Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, Medical and Science & Technology.

The university celebrated International Wheel chair day on 1st of March 2022 at the Chancellor's court. The day is meant for wheel chair users to celebrate the impact of wheel chairs on their lives.
The Faculty of Education today hosted students from Linkoping University in Sweden. The University has had a running collaboration with the faculty that includes student mentorship and exchange programmes. The team included 18 students who are taking on various educational courses at the University. The session included a Q and A session where students from Linkoping University asked about the campus and the state of education in Kenya in general. Some of the students will be spend a semester at UoN as part of the exchange programme.
The Faculty of Education organized a Guidance and Counselling session for students at the MPH Lecture Hall on 12th January, 2022 from 10.30a.m. The session was designed to facilitate student’s achievement, improve student behaviour and attendance, and help students develop socially. Guidance and Counselling supports students who are experiencing personal or academic challenges and helps them to choose careers and plan for the future.
The Faculty of Education hosted the World Wetlands Day at Kikuyu Campus on 4th February 2022. The multi-agency event was graced by various government organisations involved with wetland conservation as well as Friends of Ondiri Swamp which is a Wetland area near Kikuyu Campus.
The Faculty of Education conducted its Talent Show auditions on 18th November, 2021 at LTB2, Kikuyu Campus from 2.00p.m. - 5.00p.m.
University of Nairobi Education Students Association (UNESA), Faculty of Education conducted first years’ elections on 5th November, 2021 at Old Library (OL), Kikuyu Campus from 8.00a.m. to 5.00p.m.
The election was presided over by the dean of students Dr. Pamela Lunjalu and UNESA leaders.
The Principal Secretary, State Department for University Education and Research, Amb. Simon Nabukwesi has committed to support and upscale the activities Trainers for Teacher Education and Management (TOTEMK).
