Faculty hosts' first year representatives elections

The University of Nairobi, Faculty of Education conducted a first Year's Representative elections on 28th November, 2022 at the MPH Building from 1.00p.m. to 1.30p.m.  The election was presided over by the dean of students Dr. Pamela Lunjalu in the presence of UNSA and UNESA leaders. 

Cliff Rovasco Otieno emerged the winner and was declared the First Year Class Representative 2022/2023

Varsity holds Talent Show

The University of Nairobi, Kikuyu Campus held a talent search show on 26th November, 2022 at the MPH Building.  The students presented various talents to empower them to proceed to the next level of university talent competitions. The event in which participants performed the arts of singing, dancing, acting, martial arts, poetry, and comedy.   

Christian Union Evangelism Week

The Faculty of Education Kikuyu Campus Christian Union held an evangelism week.  The purpose of Spiritual and Religious Life in the University is to support and advance the exploration and expression of spiritually, religious life, faith-traditions, values and philosophies of life within the context of higher education. 

4TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RESEARCH AND INNOVATION IN EDUCATION

The Faculty of Education hosted a successful 4 th Annual International Conference on Research
and Innovation in Education themed “Post-Modern Trends in Education Transformation and
Sustainable Development”. The virtual conference, took place on October 26 -27 as part of the
activities of the annual University of Nairobi Research Week, during which thirteen other
conferences were hosted by various faculties. The event consisted of activities such as

FACULTY HOLDS 3RD ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ONLINE, DIGITAL AND DISTANCE EDUCATION

The Department of Educational and Distance Studies, Faculty of Education, University of Nairobi, held a Two-day online conference on Online, Digital and Distance Education during the University of Nairobi Research week on October 24th &25th, 2022.The conference aimed at sharing expertise and allowed for knowledge exchange between practioners in the distance learning field.

University of Toronto, Canada waives semester tuition fee for University of Nairobi Students

The Department of Educational and Distance Studies, Faculty of Education, University of Nairobi, Kenya in Collaboration with Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto, Canada has launched an international one semester collaborative course. The course title: CTL1221H: Educating for Humanitarian goals locally and globally: How is Science Education helping? Commenced on 16 th September 2022 to 6 th January 2023.
