The University of Nairobi held the 64th virtual graduation ceremony. This is the 2nd graduation ceremony the University has held virtually in conformance with the Ministry of Health guidelines on COVID-19. The University of Nairobi is hosting a series of webinars to mark 50 years anniversary. On December 3, 2020; The Department of Physical Education and Sport invited Professor Seija Karppinnen, from the faculty of Educational Sciences, University of Helsinki, Finland to speak at a webinar titled “Boosting 21st Century skills- Invention pedagogy and Collaboration.
The global commemoration of World AIDS Day is on December 1, 2020. The day is dedicated to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and is in remembrance of those who have lost their lives to complications of HIV.
Wednesday; November 18, 2020; the University of Nairobi conducted the first-ever virtual student council elections. The University developed an e-ballot system that allowed students to vote for their preferred student leaders to represent them in the University of Nairobi’s Campus Students Association (UNSA).
Face-to-face Teaching & Learning will resume on Monday, 9th November, 2020 for 1st Years in CAVS, CAE, CBPS, CEES-Kenya Science Campus & CHS.
Students will report to their respective Colleges for Biometric registration
The UNSA Students 2020 online elections will be held on Friday November 13th, 2020 across all Colleges of the University in line with the elections timelines and the UNSA Constitution 2017 and Rules and Regulations Governing Students Elections, 2017.
The Commission has published provisional students’ voters’ nominal rolls in the University’s website in line with schedule 3 of the Rules and Regulations Governing Student Elections, 2017.
The purpose of this announcement is to direct that all students do inspect and verify their details as captured in the provisional nominal rolls from Monday, October 26, 2020 to Sunday, November 1, 2020.

All graduates of the 63rd Congregation for the conferment of degrees and award of diplomas held on September 25, 2020 are requested to collect their certificates at the University of Nairobi Central Examinations Centre, Chiromo Campus in the following order:
